Honestly, this may be a VOCALOID Wiki but I know I've got no issues with talking about other synths here. It's pretty much all one fandom anyways. The only thing set in stone is that the pages have to be about VOCALOID. I don't think discussion on other synths should be shunned just as long as the pages themselves are on-topic.
I don't know Korean or really remember how the site works but I think that Uber's right.
For the country 미국 is America and the bottom two are create password and user ID.
Guys relax. They're still VOCALOIDs. They're going to have voicebanks on the new engine as Piaproloids, yes, and mostlikely not going to have any new vbs on the VOCALOID engine, but that doesn't negate their past. They all still have VOCALOID voicebanks that are out in the wild, and people are still going to use their VOCALOID vbs. KAITO and MEIKO have V1 vbs aswell as V3 vbs and people still use and prefer and use their V1 vbs over the updates. It's basically the same case here. The only way they could possibly not be VOCALOIDs is if their vbs all suddenly poofed out of existence along with all memory of them being VOCLAOIDs. And I don't see ya'll complaining about how IA's not a VOCALOID cause she now has a couple CeVIO vbs and seems to of left the engine alltogether aswell. Besids, with that logic, LEON, LOLA, MIRIAM, along with the V2 ENGloids and Piko are no longer VOCALOIDs cause they're never gonna have a update. And even more so for the first the cause they're no longer available.
That all being said, SeeU. SeeU is the best VOCALOID.
You'll need to import VOCALOID2 vocals first.
You can download the VOCALOID2 Library Import Tool from Zero-G's site here: https://zerog-shop.reamaze.com/kb/vocaloid/support-for-zero-g-vocaloid-products
Then you'll need to email the respective VOCALOID's companies for import codes. Some of these companies (such as CRYPTON, INTERNET co., and AH-Software) require registration before it is possible to get a code.
After that, you can use the VB in Piapro Studio freely like any other V3 or V4 VB.
(Note: this does NOT apply to the standalone editor, which can only use Hatsune Miku V4C)
Got too many to list individually so mind if I direct ya'll here: User:MeerkatQueen#Recommended Songs. When I find a underrated gem I put it here. (It needs to be updated though…)
Made a YT playlist aswell and it's more up to date, has more popular songs aswell, along with a few non-VOCALOID songs thrown in (that I also highly recommend) but unfortunately, it's official YT uploads only so there are some songs that I wish were there that aren't OTL
I'm fine either way I guess. Backed up my talk page just in case.
I'd say Akumi's a good choice
These threads sure have been dead since fandom turned them into discussions haven't they? (ㄱ_ㄱ)
I'd say if it's not done in excess it should be fine.
Ever since they changed these from froms to discussions I never know to check these anymore. I used to rely on the activity feed but these have since been removed. OTL
I remember that back in 2010, when I first got into VOCALOID, I asked my cousin (who was the one who introduced me to the franchise) if there were any English VOCALOIDs and he said "Yes, but they're not very good" and then proceeded to show me a (bad) either Luka or SONiKA cover of Bad Romance.
What did I miss?
So I just noticed that if you hold your VOCALOID's box at a certain angle, you can see the serial code.
(Tried to hold it at an angle where you can see what I mean, without you guys being able to read the code.)
But yeah, if you have any VOCALOID boxes, especially if from YAMAHA, I urge you to see for yourself!!

Have you made a VSQ or VSQx or tried making a VSQ or VSQX? If yes, how was it?
VSQs, VSQxs, midis, ppsf, I've made them all. Most of the time from scratch but rarely I may use someonelse's. It's a lot of fun making VSQs. I usually make them by ear but sometimes may use sheetmusic if avalible.
Angel Emfrbl wrote: I also wrote up the male lyrics from the song "Civilisation", that song from Fallout 3 or 4. This is why the Phoneme List talks about "Bungle" at one point. Turns out Big Al can say "Bingle" and "Bangle" but not "Bungle" and the chorus goes "Bingle, Bangle, Bungle I don't want to be in the jungle oh no no no". When I wrote that page it was the first thing that came to mind as it was the first lyric I had to make up for Vocaloid.
It's funny you mention that because Civilization was actually one of the first VSQs I ever made. It wasn't the full song though, just a short test with Luka. :P (I forget if she was able to get the "Bingle, Bangle, Bungle" right. Probably not.)
I just wanted to apologize for all of the recent inactivity here. I've been out of it recently and alot's been going on.
I am going to atleast try to be somewhat active and keep up with what's going on here and in the VOCALOID community in general, but I've been pretty drained lately.
Also, happy birthday Angel!
And happy birthday flower!
I agree. (Though that I guess is obvious)
I keep seeing reprints with thousands of views, sometimes well over a million, while the original upload has give or take 10K. And as stated before there are copyright issues and overall a strong distaste from artists about reprints. I've also while working on Len's songlist pages seen the problem of reprinters not putting the original name and artist making it virturally impossible for people who enjoy the song to find and give attention to the original artist, the one that deserves the credit and attention. This is also a common problem seen in the illust community aswell. Hell, there it's actually called theft and they're not wrong.
A Dark VB would be cool but if she does end up with an update, it'd likely only be a "Native" VB. (Which for her would essentially be Power though considering her original VB so.. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯)
Here's a link to her product page in case you haven't already found it.
TRUST ME when I tell you that you'll want to order her via a forwarding service. I ordered Tianyi and Longya straight from taobao and it was a BITCH to get them to arrive. Luckily the customer service people were really nice but apparently CDs are on the site's "no fly list". (I forget the exact reason but) the only reason I was able to get them was because they were software. Either way I got extremely lucky. As for what forwarding service to recommend, I do not know because I haven't ordered anything since.
While some items can be shipped internationally, many items cannot be and will require a forwarding service. Here's a list of what taobao cannot ship internationally in case needed for future notice.
Looks like VY1’s staying with me. At least for a while.
