I'm sorry if I'm not doing this correctly as it's my first time using this kind of messaging system, as the wikia I'm more active in still use the old forums.

but at any rate, I think this is important both for the sake of transparency and for the sake of not misleading our users, especially kids.

one look at popipo's approved lyrics section and you'll see why vocaloid.wikia.com/wiki/ぽっぴっぽー_(PoPiPo)#Approved English lyrics

the english lyrics here are from project diva and were specifically added to pad out for time so the song would be long enough to use as a rhythm game level. already it was at a disadvantage quality wise because it was made as a dub rather than a sub, but there wasn't really an effort to make it stand up on it's own let alone as an adaptation or translation.

so not only does it not convey the meaning of the original lyrics like it should, it's not even coherent as it's own thing

when people see "approved lyrics" they expect that the lyrics have gone through some form of quality control, which these very clearly have not.

I do understand why they're here, they're official material after all, but I think they should be labeled as what they are along with a quality warning rather than being presented as a proper translation
