Long story short, this isn't happening this year as we've got a entire wiki to sort.
But next year I'll be working out articles like [[UTAU]] ... And the other synths.
There is only a few without a proper wiki and the interwiki links template links to them all. I just found out Vocalina has a wiki, so even that has no reason to be here.
I know people protest about this, but the way I see it, there is getting less and less reasons to host information on other vocal synths here. With Miku leaving the Vocaloid software, I'm going to use this chance myself to clean up things with the wiki and make things more Vocaloid-centralled.
Mostly, these articles exist because when the wiki was first set up in 2009 it covered all things synth based, including UTAU. But as each wiki got its own wiki, it became less and less reasoning and justification to keep our pages on each synth open.
With CFM pulling out, there is going to be a period of overlap for Miku and co between the past and present and there needs to be a black and white line between old coverage and new. So its time to draw the line in the sand. We won't be covering any non-Vocaloid topics from 2020 onwards.
The only debatable pages are the derivatives and Teto, to me... Teto's never had a justification here but I wasn't prepared to argue with Bunai at the time over it. And with Miku and co's departure and Yamaha stating Haku and Neru aren't part of the Vocaloid franchise and that they don't support them... And a wiki for them too... We'll see. In 2019, derivatives mean a lot less then 2009.
