"Aside from one or two minor things, these are all thats going Bunai. What do you think I'm doing? A mass removal? Are you afraid the recent Miku departure means I want everything now related to Miku gone?'"
I have said nothing about "''Miku's'' departure" because everything doesn't revolve around Hatsune Miku. I work(ed) on the CeVIO, VOICEROID, and MACNE Wiki, so a VOCALOID character image being used for another synthesizer isn't the end of the world for me.
To reiterate, I offered to redirect the individual articles and place them to a listing page (something that a lot of wikis do) as a reference to similar software. And I already have the main Derivatives on FANLOID with the same information, so no, I am not "fighting" or "arguing" to keep them on the wiki, I am asking to allow an alternative way of presenting information on the Vocaloid wiki that isn't bothersome to you.
My problem is using YAMAHA officialism and Crypton as a jump-off point to disregard non-VOCALOID related materials as if it hurts the wiki as a whole when it never has. And lack of specifications as to what "non-Vocaloid" means to you personally, will of course result in overthinking that anything not directly tied to YAMAHA is going to be scrutinized.
Since it has been a week the discussion and poll is going to be locked.
The voting to showcase the producer is getting the majority of the voting. And the style suggestions have been : "Producer ft. VOCALOID" and "Producer's cover ft. VOCALOID", which is something I think will work out.
I am looking to gather feedback on the ==Derivatives== section that is featured on song pages (Example of mixed usage // Example of producer usage). I am attempting organize this section as it has gotten rather sloppy over the years due to having no structure policy.
So I am asking if this section should be organized by the name of the synth featured or the name of the producer that created it.
