Hi, Vocaloid is obviously dying..so like how do we make it rise up in popularity as a community?
What's on your mind?
Hello, I am playing first Project Diva(PSP version, I think) and just don't know how to unlock next song. As you can see, I already got a costume, but not a song. What should I do? (Sorry, for my bad English)
Hello,, I was hoping someone could help me find an old song? I'm not sure if Gumi was the one who sang it but in the pv there's this green haired girl with pigtails who wants to confess her love before school ends? I think there was a lyric mentioning a "summer festival" and her seeing the guy she likes already dating someone. There's also a scene where she takes a pair of red scissors and it looks like she's about to cut her neck (later its shown that she cut off her pigtails). At the end, it slowly zooms out of a picture of them walking away from each other.
Thank you in advance,,<3
Two years ago, I had a song saved to my liked list on YouTube, completely forgot about the song til recently. However, when I went to go through my list, the song wasn’t there and there were a bunch of privated videos. Pretty sure the video I liked was one of them.
Anyway, the video had a pink and purple aesthetic with a guy of the same colors. The start of the video had a text message on screen with the main character asking for help or someone else asking him for help, and then the response to whoever asking for help was “why should I help you?”
Then the song gets really energetic and then there’s a part in the song where he sings something like “ranapannaa” or “kazabanaa” Idk what exactly it was, bunch I know that it had a bunch of “a”s in the title and it was a super long sentence (idk what else to call it, since to me it just looked like a mash of letters)
(This song wasn’t in Japanese and I think in the comment section it said the language was Finnish or maybe Swedish?)
By the end of the song, I think it had him wearing a crown and talking about “why should I help useless and worthless people like you?” (He might have had rectangle-shaped, thick framed glasses in the beginning but I can’t be too sure)
Also, I didn’t know where to post this so sorry if it’s in the wrong forum. Any help would be appreciated, thank you for reading :)
theres this one vocaloid who had an overall pink aesthetic. the avatar's art (is that what you call them) was outlined in blue and wore a button up shirt with shorts. all i remember is that people seemed to dislike her because she sounded a lot like gumi
Hello everybody! so i'm new to the community, i don't really know how this works but i really need help. I'm looking for a miku song that i used to listen like 5 or 4 years ago. I remember the rythm, it was a slow song and i can remember "mitsumenai youni" before the chorus, "hitotsu no" at the chorus" and the song ended with "yaranai, nai, nai" or something like that. I'll leave down here a link with an audio of mine humming the song. If it's for help, i remember the stars with this song. appreciate your help! (it had piano, bagpipes and like a metalophone on its melody)
Mine's Juby Phonic's cover.
Also a gif I made
I attempted to follow the instructions in Yamaha's official tutorial for how to get VOCALOID5 to work as a VST/rewire program in Studio One 3 Artist. I have the necessary add-on for VST and rewire support. Whenever I open my DAW, VOCALOID5 is shown as a rewire program, but the VOCALOID5 folder is not shown underneath that icon. Is there anything I need to do to fix this issue?
My operating system is Windows 10 x64.
The title is self-explanatory, and this might be a pretty basic question, but I thought it would be fun to see what everyone's opinions were! Just post a comment down below, listing your favorite VOCALOIDs! You can also explain, even if it's just "I think [VOCALOID] is cool because I like their design." I'll share my own opinions!
I personally really like the MEIKAs [MEIKA Hime and MEIKA Mikoto] because their designs are unique and their voices sound great! I don't have a personal preference between the MEIKAs since I just love them both.
I also like Mo Qingxian, and she's one of my favorite Chinese VOCALOIDs behind Xingchen. Qingxian is pretty and her voice fits her. I also really like her character background. If you know any songs produced with Qingxian's voice, let me know because I want to listen to more of her voice.
While Haruno Sora has a very pretty design and is quite aesthetically-pleasing, I don't like her voice that much. However, if her voice was just a bit different, I might like her.
UNI has always been one of my favorite VOCALOIDs, and I believe she was one of the first VOCALOIDs I had familiarized myself with when I rejoined the VOCALOID community about 2 years prior. Her design is adorable, and although I cannot understand a word in Korean, I love the Korean VOCALOIDs! I often see UNI and SeeU as a duo and kind-of the poster children for Korean VOCALOIDs. I hope we can see more Korean VOCALOIDs in the future.
SeeU is also a personal favorite, and I was introduced to her alongside UNI. SeeU is also really adorable, like UNI, especially with her cat-like appearance. I like both SeeU and UNI's voices very much, and they also sound very good together! If you have any SeeU songs you know, please post them!
Xingchen, better known as Stardust, is honestly my favorite VOCALOID. Although she's a Chinese VOCALOID, her songs (ex; Chén Jiàng, StarLaLaLa, Qǐ Wù Yuán, and Xīng Yuàn to name a few) are beautiful and I adore her voice and design! I listen to her songs quite often, and I'm glad she seems to be at least decently popular with all her songs (according to the wiki, Xingchen has about 125 songs)!
Fukase. Just... Fukase. Many people like him and I like him too. I like his design, his voice, and his songs. That is all about Fukase. Fukase is Fukase and we appreciate him here.
CYBER DIVA! CYBER DIVA is my favorite English VOCALOID, although many people say she sounds like/is Lady Gaga. DIVA is different than her in a few ways. While some of her songs may be saddening or have questionable themes, it's nice to listen to songs I can understand in their entirety, being a native English speaker. While GUMI also has a lot of English songs, DIVA remains as my favorite English-speaking VOCALOID. DIVA's design is also quite interesting. Despite her physical appearance being her head, people can play around with her outfit design, which is fun to see.
Other VOCALOIDs I enjoy to a lesser degree based on their popularity are:
Hatsune Miku, GUMI, MEIKO, KAITO, Kagamien Len, Kagamine Rin, Megurine Luka, and OLIVER.
Again, you don't need to give a whole essay as I did. You can simply list off your favorites, and that'll be fine! I hope to hear from you all!
I'm getting a PS Vita for Christmas to get F and F 2nd. The problem is, which should I get first? F seems easier to adapt to, but F 2nd has cool double stars, linked stars, etc.
So idk, what do y'all think?
Hey, I’m new here. I remember this song I used to listen to a few years ago, and it’s sung by Hatsune Miku- I don’t think I remember any of the lyrics or the meaning of the song but I do remember it being in a 3/4 tempo playing a series of piano chords in the beginning before starting the actual song, and the video’s visuals center a lot about the main girl being in some kind of mental hospital, black and white. Those piano chords play through the whole song, and there is a visual of a teddy bear’s head being cut off with a pair of scissors. I remember that, at least- any idea what it is?
I will press a button while playing the game, and it won’t work. I know this isn’t my switch, as other games are fine. This is getting to the point where I can’t play.
Okay so this is a bit of a stretch but I’m trying to find a Vocaloid song I was very into back when I first got into Vocaloid, I have memories of listening to it in 2011 on YouTube but it’s very likely it was created and posted before then.
The song was sung by Miku, the title had something to do with a clock- clockwork maybe?? As well as a bird I believe? The music video was mostly black with miku having a spotlight on her and the song was slow and sad. Oh and just to clarify she was singing in Japanese.
I’ve tried my best guesses with no avail, if any of you have any ideas that would be beyond wonderful!!
This is my first time posting in this forum so I hope this is in the correct place
Does anyone know the guy who revived the Miku Domino app?
I've recently been into using Vocaloid and UTAU and the information for producers/tuners seems to be so chaotic, sparse and convoluted, it really confuses me.
Where should I start? What are some good tutorials/guides?
Sorry for bad English, cheers!
I really need help! I used to listen to a song pretty often but I forgot its name and the melody.
The only thing i remember is that the song was about a girl who was bullied or something like that and she always used to play an online game to distract herself because in this world her avatar was cooler.
Someday the avatar tricks the girl and they trade places. So while the girl chills in the online world and has fun, the avatar kills everyone who made the girl sad and thats all I remember
I've seen many people asking the song they've listened to but forgot the name/title. I've only been in vocaloid fandom for about a year but I think I can help out because I can remember most songs I've heard of, so if you want to know the song, I think I can help you so ya can ask me!~
I always can't remember the name of this song, and I've been searching for it for hours at this point. It has piano and some drums in the original music video, and the video depicts the singer at the center of the screen with his foot chained.
The lyrics depicts the singer growing up and saying that he is perfect just so he won't get hurt. But as time goes on, the weight of exceptions slowly started to hurt him. The last line translates to something like "When I saw the world for the first time, I saw you." followed by a shot of high school girl who in my interpretation "saved" him, which is significant since the other people expect the main singer are depicted as "sketchy stick figures". The video ends with the chains broken.
I don't know the original male singer, but there was a cover (sung by Kyo I think)
Just to help you guys in finding the song, I think it starts with "Boku wa tadashii nante" or something like that, which supposed to be part of the first verse that loosely translates to "I always do everything perfectly" Or something like that.
