Background[]
"※Netabare: Hannin wa Zundamon" is an original song produced by Mata Setsunai Sekai o Ikiru featuring eleven voice synths: six VOCALOIDs, two COEIROINKs and one UTAU, NEUTRINO and VOICEVOX. It was released as a participating work in the Joke, Weird or Story Song Festival and the Existing Song Resurrection Festival.
The song itself is essentially a chaotic love letter to the meme-driven side of Niconico Douga, filled with references to purely-Japanese internet memes and related culture.
The song is presented like a "story": Yuzuki Yukari, acting as the organizer, hosts a meeting with eight trusted individuals to decide who will inherit her "transfer asset", which is revealed to be simply: the Niconico Headquarter's Building. As the meeting goes on, the characters argue and clash over the building in increasingly ridiculous ways.
The tone shifts into full chaos once Zundamon appears. True to the song's title, Zundamon's plan is to just blow up the entire building; they already did, understandably angering everyone. The song also begins breaking the fourth wall in many forms, escalating the absurdity even further with no sign of stopping.
At the end, the eighth participant, who is the true participant, who had been late, finally arrives. This character turns out to be a COEFONT voice synth of Hiroyuki. The producer didn't credit Hiroyuki initially, instead labeling the character with question marks to keep the identity a mystery until the very end.
The song concludes without clearly settling who will ultimately inherit the building.
