Background[]
"Mimukauwa Nice Try" is an original trap music, denpa song by Nunununununununununununununununu, featuring mainly Hatsune Miku (V4X Original). This is also the first song in which the singer is primarily VOCALOID as their other songs focus on other vocal synthesizers such as VOICEVOX, VOICEPEAK, etc.
The song is about Miku winning in the card game of UNO, while acting as a parody of the mesugaki trope. In context of the game, the only way to win UNO is to have run out of cards.
At the beginning of the song, Miku has only one card left; she feels victorious and taunts the player (or the viewer) over it, asking them to make another move. The point of view character has all Draw +2 and +4 cards.
After Miku's many taunts, the player decides to play all of their cards in one turn, winning the game and forcing Miku to draw dozens of cards.
In the end, the player/viewer wins.
The ending also reveals that the cards are not properly shuffled, which explains how the player had every Draw +2 and +4 card.
This song surpassed 10 million views on YouTube in less than two weeks, and entered the Hall of Fame. It is the third Japanese song to exceed 10 million views on bilibili, a milestone typically reached by Chinese songs. Additionally, it became the fastest to reach this achievement in approximately two weeks. The first song to achieve this was Pinocchio-P's "Nee Nee Nee", followed by 32ki's "Mesmerizer".
Controversy[]
When the song was released people pointed out the song is quite controversial, causing some drama on social media sites like TikTok and YouTube due to people mentioning that Miku in Mimukawa Nice Try is about 10 years old and the song is quite suggestive, causing people to call Nunununununununununununununununu a "lolicon" and the song "lolibait".

Trivia[]
- The song has been planned after Nunununununununununununununununu has posted small animations of the song's PV on Twitter.
- People beleived that the song's name was a worldplay/title pun of "Miku Kawaii", However, One of Nunununununununununununununununu's aquiantances mentions that it was just mentioning a person's name (Sakaki Mimu). In short: the song's name of "Miku Kawaii" or notably "Pwetty Miku Nice Try" was nothing but a myth.[7]
- The opening line of the music video, "The video has begun!!, This is a VocaColle song!!" (Japanese: 遂に始まりました!!、ボカコレです!!。), is simply the producer's gimmick. The actual VOCALOID Collection event was postponed to Winter 2025. However, this song was featured in one event: it became an entry for the Momi Agewo Upload Festival 2024 organized by Momi Agewo.
- The pose Miku strikes at 0:14 is known as "The Dab." It is often used to convey triumph or playfulness and typically represents a sense of victory.
- The "You're an idiot☻" is a reference to a 2004 website with malicious JavaScript (Trojan.JS.Offiz) that spawned several browser windows with the flashing text "you are an idiot ☻☻☻" and loud music taunting the user until they restarted their computer.
- Sanjuu Sansei Yon or "33-4" is an internet meme reference that came from the baseball game 2005 Japan Series where the Marines beat the Tigers 33-4.
- All +2 and +4 Draw Cards that the player put means Miku has to draw 32 cards.
- In the music video, Nunununununununununununununununu has asked viewers to post fanarts of this song under the hashtag "#39neko".[4]
- Nunununununununununununununununu also revealed that they had no "idea" what the lyrics "kuzubocha, yochiyochi, misozukya, koshikoshi" even mean or any memory of writing them. The producer invited viewers to decipher their meaning.[5]
