Background[]
"Rakuraku Anrakushi" is an original song produced by PEPOYO featuring Hatsune Miku, with VY1 and a pre-release version[citation needed] of the UTAU vocal Poyoroid on chorus. It started as just a short song titled as "Anraku (安楽)" until it was chosen to make a full version months later.
The song is simply about the focusing of a helpless hikikomori named Poyoroid Sou who has various personal issues about life and wanting to escape from all of it by committing suicide, but rather than ending her life at the moment, she'll end her life in a natural way until she passes away. This is a similar practice to euthanasia.
The song has entered the Hall of Legend and surpassed 15 million views on YouTube. This was hence PEPOYO's most notable work and her only work with 10+ million YouTube views. The song trends even more as it became used as an animation meme, knowing from mostly between the Japanese and western fandoms alike.
In November 2025, the song was removed by YouTube (only citing Community Guidelines violations as reason without elaborating further).

- IMPORTANT NOTE: To clear confusion about Poyoroid (the UTAU), even though the song was released in 2021 and the UTAU itself debuted in 2022, the NicoNico description credited the UTAU version of Poyoroid:

初音ミク、VY1、ぽよろいど(UTAU)" - PEPOYO revealed the names of these two characters (from Miku and VY1). These illustrations are also released as commemorative artworks for 2.38 million YouTube views.[1]
- On November 6, 2024, an incident happened where the song was deleted by YouTube due to violating "YouTube's Community Guidelines".[YT 1][YT 2][YT 3][YT 4] PEPOYO tried to negotiate this; however, it resulted in a warning which made PEPOYO unable to post anything on YouTube for 90 days until February. If she posted anything, she would risk losing her YouTube Channel.[YT 5] A few hours later, the removal from YouTube was lifted, but the video was now marked as age-restricted.[YT 6] Since it was back up, the song reached its 15 million YouTube views.
- This did not only mean that this song was affected by YouTube, but also some derivatives of this song were affected as well.[YT 7]
- On November 15, 2025, a little more than a year later, the song was again removed by YouTube for violating the Community Guidelines, in spite of the change in title (to "らくらく🪽👻🪦" or "Rakuraku 🪽👻🪦").[YT 8] She clarified that the song was not made to promote euthanasia or self-harm,[YT 9] yet that did not stop the video from being flagged. She hoped the song would some day make another comeback, but due to all the problems it had caused, she was finding such a proposition tough.[YT 10] Two hours later, she learned that while she had changed the title on the Japanese side of YouTube (to comply with the Guidelines), she had forgotten to do the same to the English title, and that was what triggered the Guidelines violation.[YT 11]
- Since this second strike, many derivative works, especially covers, have also been getting blatantly removed from YouTube, and the issue seems to be spreading more widely.[YT 12][YT 13] Sometimes, even before the strike.[YT 14]
- Because of the deletion in November, PEPOYO re-uploaded the song to her second channel on November 17, 2025, albeit censored.[YT 15]
- One of the censors was in the video title, with the title being censored to "Rakuraku Anraku" instead of "Rakuraku Anrakushi" to trick the filters into believing there wasn't any relation to euthanasia.
- The black bars on the sides containing the lyrics have been censored with images of Poyoroids, Poyoroid Sou and Poyoroid Utsu.
- When lyrics containing the word "shi" (specifically when it's used in a way that relates to death) appear in the center of the screen, there will be an image of PEPOYO's plushies.
