Background[]

"SHANTI" is an original song produced by wotaku. It is also his second work to feature KAITO as the vocalist, with the first being "Literacy".

This song is connected to wotaku's "Mafia". On his Twitter, wotaku commented that the girl who appears in "Mafia" assumes the role of the boss; the man in "SHANTI" is her subordinate, who is in charge of activities in Chinatown.^[1] There he does things such as offering and providing drugs for people and then making them participate in illegal activities like murder and organ trafficking if they don't have the money to pay for them.

This song has entered the Hall of Legend and exceeded over 14 million YouTube views. Hence, this is wotaku's most notable song, one of KAITO's most notable songs, and KAITO's most viewed song to date.
