"Beast in the Beauty" is an hard rock, metal, rock song by KANON69 featuring Megurine Luka V4X. It is the fourth song of the Royal Scandal series, and is officially "Episode 3". It takes place after the events of "Magic Ring Night". Beast in the Beauty has entered the Hall of Fame. The song utilizes the Growl parameter effectively to display the fury of a woman scorned. The theme of the song is Beauty and the Beast.
The song tells the story of Olivia de Villeneuve, the daughter of an aristocrat, who gives everything for the love of Alam Galland. She sits in Bar Masquerade and reflects on how Alam has told her that all he needs is money, and she plans to do whatever it takes to make him love her. She is seen giving money to him throughout the song, eventually reducing herself to being poor. One night while she's asleep, she sees that he's snuck out of the house, and as she follows him she finds him cheating on her at a party, whilst spotting her jewelry being worn by the women he's with. A heartbroken Olivia walks through the forest where she encounters Harvey, who presents her with a briefcase full of money and a gun to get her revenge on Alam. She takes the money and sets off to meet Alam. Olivia, dressed beautifully, meets Alam, and presents him with the money. As the two embrace, she reaches behind her and pulls the gun out of the holster strapped to her leg, grabs Alam's hand, and shoots him in the stomach. He stares at her in a mix of shock, horror, and disbelief before Olivia grabs him and throws him to the ground, fully displaying her fury. She pins Alam down and holds the gun to his forehead, then pulls the trigger, killing him. As Olivia makes her escape into the forest, Harvey can be seen coming into the room and taking a ring with a spade on it off Alam's hand.
On August 31, 2024, KANON69 released a Cast Vocalist version of the song. It features a remastered melody, and the PV has been redone and now features some animation. The Cast Vocalist is SERRA. Beast in the Beauty is the first song of the Royal Scandal series that was previously released to receive a Cast Vocalist version.
