It is part of the Project VOLTAGE 18 Types/Songs series, a collaboration between Hatsune Miku and the media franchise Pokémon. This song depicts Miku as an Electric type trainer with Pikachu as her partner.

The song is named after the attack of the same name used by Pikachu.

The song has exceeded 10 million views on YouTube and has entered the Hall of Fame.
