Neko no Shokutaku is a song by Kikuo featuring Hatsune Miku.
The song seems to be about a cat who can see ghosts, yet is only seeing the ghosts of children. The cat wonders why the ghosts of children are the only ones they're seeing, and reasons that it's because the children are stupid enough to die on their own.
This song has reached over 1 million views on YouTube and entered the Hall of Fame.
*Another theory suggests that since it's said cats can see spirits, ghost, living energy, or simply death people, the cat of this song is among a lot of death children, spend time with them, and also seem to comfort them. As in some parts of the songs, the cat seems to sing verses like: "Why won't any of the adults die? Could it be because they're so smart they don't have to go to school?"
Which can be interpreted as the current situation in many countries; children kidnapping. Such crime is becoming daily, specially when the little ones leave school. So the children of this song end up like that, in a "destination unknown" (as the song says), they're locked up, tortured or blackmail their parents to get money, sometimes they die, and since they can't go anywhere, they find shelter with their feline spiritual guide. That's why the cat has this mentality of: adults are smart, because they don't have to go to school. That means children are stupid, and every time they leave school, they head towards heaven, and that's why adults never die.
