Background[]

The song was uploaded on May 30, 2008. It is Yugami-P's second song. It has more than 300,000 views on Nico Nico Douga and has become one of the Kagamines' most well known songs. According to Yugami-P, the story is about Rin who died and "Rin" who is still alive and the main theme is "guilt".

In the song, Len and Rin's "corpses" are going to be "exchanged". Len has been hospitalized, likely due to heart failure and Rin comes in a visits him. She brings a music box with her and when Len asks her if there's a way out she replies "there". Len gets desprate to become discharged from the hospital (and is implied to have tried to run away). In hopes of getting his needed heart, he stabs Rin fatally so she can become his donor. As he kills her, he hears a woman's voice telling him to be wary of what he sees in the corner of his eye.

After the transplant is finished Len awakens, speaking in Rin's voice "Even though you said the corpses were going to be exchanged".
