@Evil, there was a stage where regular Engloid uploads was like... 1 song per week for the entire cast of characters, and that was true back in 2009-2011. You could count the amount of producers often on your fingers.
This is why I've been happier as a Engloid fan since Oliver got noticed. We don't just get one or two videos a week anymore and there are more producers around. Its a long way from being perfect though, but just consider what was "normal" for Engloids was once a very sad, sad thing indeed. We often relied on the Japanese fans for most of the better songs, but 95% of the time they were cover songs. So few made original songs due to the language barrier, its kinda Wat's comments on English voicebanks were "great for Japanese producers breaking into the west" comment made me nervous. Like... Why he thought the Japanese producers would benefit more then western ones?
On the one hand the English Vocaloid is the second most supported version of the software and at the moment isn't the weakest. That goes over to Korean Vocaloids (Uni, my dear poor Uni, so much rests on you now). Though as well Maika had a fiar popularity, Clara and Bruno didn't so Spanish Vocaloids are in between Engloids and Korean vocaloids until things change. I'm also nervous on why there is nothing on Spanish Vocaloid in V4. We're had a year and nothing. I don't have a clue on the Chinese ones, but I know some editor who likely does... ^_^
