I'm pretty sure you just haven't put in her code. If i'm correct every Vocaloid has a 16 digit code, i think there's even a song about it. I don't know where you put that code tho.
That’s right. I remember I did that when I first set it up. That’s why I’m confused because I’ve done it once. Although I don’t mind do it again, I forgot where do I put in the code since the piapro and the crypton websites are both in Japanese.
Maybe you should wait for people that actually have Vocaloid, i heard you only get three of those codes so don't waste them.
Like what Ihavenoidea said, you need the code in order to activate it. Did you perhaps switch computers, or do something different with your computer at all? That could make the codes inactive.
I don't have a cryptonloid, so idk what you should do from here, but I recommend contacting crypton if possible if you end up not being able to find out the code.
You shouldn't have a problem on Vocaloids side, there is a deactivation tool for de-activation codes, you have to have the copy of the code. So long as you use this, you can then reinstall the software again on a different computer.
If worst comes to worst, one thing people have tried with some success is pulling up proof of purchases and approaching the devs. Explaining the situation. Even if you do it in English, CFM has been known to reply to English speakers from time to time. They can do things like re-issue a code. So long as you have proof, often they will help you by either finding your code for you or re-issuing one, which is most common. But you need the receipt most of all to do this and the devs do have the right to not give you one. But this has helped people in the past.
In general my knowledge on activation codes both vocaloid or otherwise isn't much help. And while I've used Piapro, I didn't really use it for much and wasn't impressed with it so... I'm not going to say much about Piapro because of this and I have no idea how it handles codes.:-?
I will say normally you get a code which works for PC or Mac, but you have to deactivate it from one if you want to use it on the other. That's the limit on my knowledge. Other then my suggestion you try and approach the CFM help anyway, that's all I can offer myself and I would definitely try it.
There is also the possibility somehow things entered "demo mode" which lasts 30 days, this has been known to happen with Vocaloid when people fail to activate things. And it can do that with 1 vocaloid even if you register all past ones, least I've seen in the past this being reported on VO... I wouldn't try this myself to find out if they is true. Then there is issues with secondhand software and basically someone re-activating something they've sold, but this hasn't occurred in vocaloid, I've just come across this in regards to software in the pre-Steam era. >_<'
@Ihavenoidea, I believe the V2s allowed 3 computers to have it and to be honest... I've installed my V2's with no problems on 4 different computers, my old desktop, my brother's, my old laptop and my current one. They were all active a the same time at one point. I don't know how this I suppose to work, I don't really understand activation limits, but either somethings been deactivated in regards to V2, or things just have changed.
Honestly can't say much since I have a hole in this department, I can only talk from my experience here. But the fact I had Big Al, Prima, Sonika and Tonio on 4 computers until recently does have me in wonder.
