Background[]
"C89 ユニティちゃんCDセット" is the official debut album for the unity-chan! voicebank featuring vocals of Otori Kohaku, AKAZA and their voice provider Asuka Kakumoto. It is a two-disk set featuring "HALFALOGUE" which contains three unity-chan! demos with instrumental versions as well as a "Unity-chan Drama CD" which contains voice recordings by Asuka Kakumoto.
The album was distributed during the COMIKET 89 (コミケット 89) Comic Market event held on December 29-31, 2015.
Concept[]
Ginsuke, the official producer on the album noted "HALFALOGUE" emphasizes a more human-like and natural singing style to suit Asuka Kakumoto for the duet, and that "WORDS FOR AKAZA" is adjusted so that it is processed in the VOCALOID editor as much as possible in order to emphasize the VOCALOID-like singing style.[1]
