galaco Talk (ギャラ子Talk) was a text to speech software featuring the VOCALOID3 mascot galaco, the voice was provided by Kou Shibasaki.
Entering words and sentences into the program will result in galaco reading the input out loud. Difficult phrases and long words could be read naturally by using the accent adjustment function and word registration function included within the software. Users could save the created reading voice in .WAV format.

galaco Talk uses the AITalk synthesis engine by AI, Inc. (エーアイ) and was included as a bonus alongside the VOCALOID3 galaco NEO package released on August 5, 2014.[1][2]
Retirement[]
On January 26, 2023, Yamaha announced the official discontinuation of the bundled galaco Talk software due to Microsoft support for Windows 8.1 officially ending on January 10, 2023. New purchases of VOCALOID3 galaco would not include the bundled software as of February 15, 2023. Users could activate and deactivate galaco Talk until March 31, 2024. Existing customers who have purchased VOCALOID3 galaco prior to February 15, and registered their copy of galaco Talk using their "VOCALOID ID", could still download their copy of the software from the included email link after February 16, 2023.[3]

- Text Input and Speech Synthesis: Enter the words or phrases into the text window. It is possible to enter multiple words or phrases. Click the Synthesis button to compile.
- By using the accent adjustment function and word registration function, even difficult phrases and long words can be read aloud naturally.
- Files can be saved in WAVE format and TEXT format, and can be imported to other programs of similar purpose.
