- Description: The fifteenth installment in Crypton Future Media's annual HATSUNE MIKU EXPO concert series and the third installment to be held online. Like in June, this event consists of a specially-curated compilation of performances of songs that were recorded at past HATSUNE MIKU EXPO concerts, some of which have not been released beforehand. In addition, a variety of online sub-events, exhibitions, and workshops were also held in conjunction with the event. The main key visual for the event was illustrated by Zambiie.

Two contests were held in conjuction with the concert.
The HATSUNE MIKU EXPO Rewind+ Illustration Contest was held in collaboration with the art site pixiv. 10 winners would have their work be shown in the concert's credits, be printed in the MIKU EXPO Rewind+ Guidebook, be exhibited in the event's gallery, and awarded with assorted goods featuring the Piapro characters.

The MIKU EXPO Rewind+ x SONICWIRE Presents Song Remix Contest Information was held in collaboration with digital store SONICWIRE, with fans submitting their own remix of KIRA's song Highlight, the theme song for HATSUNE MIKU EXPO 2021 Online. The grand-prize winner would have their remix be featured in the concert's credits, and awarded 100,000 JPY in SONICWIRE Voucher and assorted goods featuring the Piapro characters. Runner-ups would be awared 20,000 JPY in SONICWIRE Voucher.
The Grand Prix-winning remix was later announced to be by Somari.
