- Description: The tenth edition of Crypton Future Media's annual Magical Mirai series, this third-dimensional live concert event took place at INTEX Osaka in Suminoe, Osaka from August 12 to 14, 2022, Makuhari Messe International Exhibition Hall in Chiba, Tokyo from September 2 to 4, 2022, and SAPPORO CULTURAL ARTS THEATER hitaru in Hokkaido, Sapporo from February 4 to February 5, 2023. Official Event Description[]
Magical Mirai has entered its 10th year; in addition to OSAKA and TOKYO, the event will be held in SAPPORO for the first time ever!
The theme of this event is "retro-future." Let's look back on the event's past while creating the future together![1]
Song Contest[]
Prior to the event, Crypton Future Media held a song contest from December 6, 2021 to February 7, 2022 for fans and producers, where they could create a song featuring any of the piapro characters (a rule change unlike other years where only Hatsune Miku could be featured) for the opportunity to win a prize in the Magical Mirai Song Contest. The winner of the top prize, the Grand Prix, would have their song performed live at the event and printed on a SONOCA card, earn two free tickets to the show of their choice, an assortment of event-related goods, and a ¥100,000 gift card for SONICWIRE. Runners-ups would receive a ¥30,000 gift card for SONICWIRE.
The Grand Prix-winning song was later announced as "Loading Memories" by Sekikomi Gohan.

- This is the first and so far only Magical Mirai concert to not have a year in the title.
- This is the third Magical Mirai concert to not feature MEG.ME on keyboard, with Nao Nishimura replacing her. Her absence is once again to prevent her from a potential contraction of COVID-19 and an inadvertent exposure of it to her child.
- This is the second Magical Mirai event to be held outside of Osaka and Tokyo (after the 2013 concert).
- It is also the first to be held in Sapporo, as well as in more than two cities.
- This concert marks the first concert where Miku switches between the respective models used for the 2020 concert during the performance of "Aisarenakute mo Kimi ga Iru". In both the Osaka and Tokyo concerts, for the majority of the song, she wore the Summer Festival costume, which is common to the Osaka performance, but towards the end, she changed into the Winter Festival costume that is common to the Tokyo performance. In the Sapporo concert, however, she wore the Winter Festival costume for the majority of the song, before changing into the Summer Festival costume towards the end.
- This concert marks the debut performance of Magical Mirai 2014’s theme song "NEXT NEST"
- The version of "Blessing" performed during the concert was not the original, but rather an updated version using Miku, Rin, Len and Luka's V4X and voicebanks, which also appears on the official album released to coincide with the concert.
