Just Be Friends (Commonly abbreviated as JBF) is a song composed by Dixie Flatline, Illustrated by Yunomi-P and Sung by Megurine Luka. It is one of the most popular Megurine Luka songs, coming into par with Miku's Melt.
Background
The song is about how a girl (Luka) and a boy 's current relationship is going nowhere; therefore, they start to realize that the relationship is falling apart. Eventually the speaker pulls the plug and breaks up with the other. What became of the broken-hearted person is up to the viewer.
Though the song is sung by Luka, some fans interpret that it is in the boy's point of view; however, this is not confirmed or supported in any way by the creator, and both interpretations would cause inconsistencies in the PV. Fans' opinions remain divided.
The Controversy
The original "Just Be Friends" song on Nico Nico Douga has been temporarily undisplayed by Dixie Flatline due to Yunomi-P's Plagiarism, [1] where all or part of her PVs were traced.
Due to the Nature of the Controversy, it's full explanation shall not be not be explained to prevent reviving old hatreds and attacks against Yunomi-P.
