History[]
Silhouettes of the AH-Software Co. Ltd. VOCALOIDs were revealed on a poster on November 6, 2014, however, it was unconfirmed what they were for at the time.[1] On November 20, it was confirmed in the VOCALOID4 debut livestream that they all, with the exception of Tohoku Zunko, would receive VOCALOID4 voicebanks.
It was later confirmed that due to Yuki's original voice provider maturing, possible growl samples would be recorded from a new voice provider.[2]
On August 17, 2015, it was noted that Yuki and Hiyama Kiyoteru would receive demos some time after the concert ends in Vienna, Austria.[3]
On September 30, Yuki was confirmed to only receive a Natural voicebank. This could be purchased on its own or in a starter package. Her release date was announced to be October 29, 2015.[4]
On October 15, a trial version of her VOCALOID4 voicebank became available.[5]
AH-Software later mentioned at an event that Yuki could not receive XSY vocals until her provider turned 20.[6]

NATURAL is an update from VOCALOID2 Kaai Yuki. Being voiced at her time by a young child that nowadays has a different voice because of her age, certain recordings of missing phonetic data and growl were recorded by a new provider, though this doesn't have a noticeable impact on the overall sound of the vocal. | |
