KasukabeTsumugi Project (春日部つむぎプロジェクト) is a project revolving around the character, Kasukabe Tsumugi, and was originally developed in 2021 in conjunction with the Virtual YouTuber Kasukabe Tsukushi. The project was launched with the aim of supporting and furthering the development of the Saitama Prefecture in Japan. The KasukabeTsumugi Project hopes to host and make Saitama events even more exciting and to introduce Saitama products to the whole country of Japan.[1]
Prior to its foundation, the KasukabeTsumugi Project released its first vocal library for Kasukabe Tsumugi in November 2021 in the form of a text-to-speech synthesizer, VOICEVOX. She was later released on the VOCALOID β-STUDIO VX-β engine via a limited lottery application in September 2023 and is currently expected to receive a VOCALOID6 voicebank, to be released in the winter of 2024.
The KasukabeTsumugi Project was moved to its own official website, separating itself from Kasukabe Tsukushi's website, in July 2022.[2]
