"Lowfi HeartBit" is an original song by Powapowa-P. The song was originally sung by UTAU voicebank Kemonone Rou, becoming the first notable Kemonone Rou song ever produced and additionally becoming one of Powapowa-P's notable songs. It was later used as an official demo song for Shiki Rowen (VOCALOID6).
Controversy[]
There were numerous controversies leading up to and following Rowen's announcement for the VOCALOID engine, the most notable of these involving the Lowfi HeartBit demo used for Shiki Rowen's VOCALOID6 release. A discrepancy was discovered by a cover artist named Tomo,[1] in which MUGEN used Rowen's RVC voicebank in tandem with inference data from Yuma for Synthesizer V Studio for the vocals of this official VOCALOID6 demo.
The statement posted by MUGEN in the aftermath was poorly received by most people in the fandom, as there was evidence that pointed toward the incident not being the fault of a third party mixing engineer, as MUGEN stated. This controversy and many others soured the view of English-speaking VOCALOID fans on Rowen's coming release, especially the views of furries in the community, who had been excited for a furry on the software.
As a result, the original upload from official VOCALOID channel was deleted. It was later revised and reuploaded by MUGEN to their official Youtube channel.
