History[]
Kobayashi Matcha first made her debut alongside Masaoka Azuki in the game Utayomi 575: an iOS app which featured her VOCALOID2 voicebank and released in July 26, 2013.[1]
Her next appearance was in Uta Kumi 575: a PS Vita game released on January 23, 2014, This game utilized her voicebank to sing.[2]
Matcha also appeared in GO! GO! 575: an anime for the project.[3] A manga and novel was also planned.

While the vocals for Azuki and Matcha were made for the Project 575 game, within days of the game's initial release, the vocals were exported into the VOCALOID3 engine without authorization. Both vocals were reported to use a "Lite" version of the VOCALOID2 engine.[4]
