  • On the Piapro Studio Wiki, I have successfuly been able to add a colored text template. We are still having issues with the template themes for character pages (an example would be Rin and Len's VOCALOID page theme color set as yellow). I tried to look at this Wiki's template for help but it was not much use. I ended up contacting Community Central Forums(blue text is my thread link) about the issue, and they were kind enough to help me. I am just not sure as to where the code for the theme goes. I understand that there should be a template too, but with seperate templates I thought I would need to add the template creating code in there.

In the code editor, I also attempted to put the theme text in the name section, and that did not work (Possibly due to there being no existing template). Anything else I tried resulted in breaking the infobox whenever I previewed changes. If there is anything you could do to help solve the issue, it would be appriciated.

    Thanks.

    • I attempted to input the code after what I typed in my previous comment, and theinfobox was broken. (I was incorrect about the other boxes not using the standard synth infobox though so I at least figured that out.)

      I tried to place <infobox theme-source="theme" theme="default">
in it's own group, that also did not work.
At this point, it would most likely be better if someone else
could input the text. Thanks for helping me; I just think that
this problem is something I cannot comprehend well. (It might
be worth it for me to purchase a book on CSS/HTML coding in the
      future.)

Thank you very much. Though it has been challenging for me to
sort this out, I have learned a lot.

    • So far, thank you for sorting everything out in the infoboxes and pages.

The themes are still not coming up though, even after I replaced the insert in the MediaWiki code.

It's formatted correctly, but still not showing up.

Tried to introduce the PS's paneling system to images only for each infobox. I'm not interested in introducing the software paneling from PS wiki I ut there, because there is too many releases and I can do the mascot images... But not software. And we have entire pages dedicate to the software so no need for it being on the infobox. For the PS wiki, its because we actually have no reason to cover Vocaloid releases, so we needed the paneling for past software.

  • Whatever happened to the Relationship and background pages on the Answers wiki when it shut down?

I wanted to make this page go live here and I forgot where they got put here... Theres no rush, I've got work to do at the PS wiki for now thats going to consume a lot of my spare editing time I set aside. So some things are at the back of the list of things I've got to do. Same with Tutorials, their now behind the PS wiki setting up.

There you go, this is in relation to my cleaning house discussion. You wanted me to define things more clearly, I tried. Here is the simplest way I can define everything of importance to the wiki and whats not, how things are relevant and how their not.

If this isn't acceptable to answer the question of what is "non-Vocaloid", then I'm not sure what you want from me as a person and editor. This is my best clarification effort I can make.

    Shrugs so... I've tried.

As I said in the topic, to me the act of having pages like UTAU creates a needless middleman, I know you say I've added more, but thats because everyone wants them, even if their only vaguely relatable. So this issue Bunais' gone on for 8 years and no matter what nothing ever gets done. Thats my point, why I said I want to use Miku's move to PS and PS wiki now creating to clean up long term problems.

    Thats all.

I'm a little stressed out right now on the wiki, as I don't know quite what people want. Some people misunderstood the situation with creation of the PS wiki and there is even an argument I've seen with Miku ceasing to be a Vocaloid as of 31st of August because of announced move to PS. And as I tried unsuccessfully to point out, because of Miku departing Vocaloid everyone is so bent up on it... We'renot really discussing things like Vocaloid:AI.

    • Okay, thanks. It is more detailed and understanding.

    • ITs cool.

Edit: BTw, as I noted, we have a issue with lists, which you suggested we compact the synths into.

Aside from the two I listed, they generally don't get used, that has me concerned... Its because generally people go straight to a topic rather then going to the list first. I am not saying "get rid of them", but they need to be fixed to be more notable.

This comment is generally unrelated to everything else, its a note that Status and Vocaloids are the only two that see a lot of updating. This does have me concerned but in a different way to everything else.

  • I know "Vocaloid1" makes lifeeasier, but there has never been a software called "Vocaloid1", so every time you change it you leave an incorrect name.

Look, if we need to sort this out, thats fine as I know there is more then 1 defination of "Vocaloid" as a term, but this is getting silly. Its already correct as "Vocaloid" so your leaving errors.

Its such a minor error too.

Edit: Example you could have it as "Vocaloid (software)", I've wanted for a while to do "Vocaloid (franchise)" as it happens.

  • Hello. I was told by Angel to contact you first about the raw vocal samples. Based on the previous versions and suggestions made by other users, I created a script that included the name of the voicebank, the company that developed the product, and the release date. Finally, a phrase about using the vocal was added at the end. I used the voicebanks at their default settings, and with no vibrato.

The files can be found on the Kagamine V4 English page, or in the uploaded images section of the wiki. The file names are RINV4English.ogg and LENV4English.ogg. The only "editing" I did was raising the volume of the sample compared to the original audio file. Without raising the volume, a wiki user would not be able to hear the samples properly.

If there are any issues regarding the samples, please contact me on my Message Wall.
