multiβ-N VX-β | Songs Albums Notable Originals

multiβ-N is a package of 17 individual prototype Japanese VOCALOIDs developed by the Yamaha Corporation, and was released via a limited lottery application in August 2023 for the VOCALOID β-STUDIO VX-β engine.

Their voice providers have not been revealed.

Concept[]

multiβ-N is described as a selection of special voices that can switch between multiple singers per singing style.[1] Typically, one voicebank represents one singer. A special pulldown toggles between the singing styles that are unique to the singer represented by a given voicebank. Switching between singing styles will change not only the pitch movement, but also the timbre of the singing voice. multiβ-N, contains multiple singers. A total of 17 voicebanks are included in the package with 12 female voicebanks, labeled f00 through f11, and 5 male voicebanks labeled m00 to m04.[2]

Etymology[]

The meaning of the codename "multiβ-N" has not been revealed. The female voicebanks are labeled f00 to f11, while the male voicebanks are labeled m00 to m04 respectively.

Appearance[]

multiβ-N, similar to the VY series, does not have an official avatar established for the vocals, and is instead represented by an abstract, rainbow-spectrum mist of color.
