Background
"Pink or Black" is a song by kz, of livetune, featuring Hatsune Miku. It was released in 2013 alongside a music video featuring the anime franchise "Six Hearts Princess" by Takashi Murakami. The song and video were released on the YouTube channel of makeup company Shu Uemura, and served as an advertisement for their Six Hearts Princess collection.
The basis of the song and its accompanying video is the double-faceted nature of women, represented by "pink" and "black". "Every woman has pink side and black side in her, nice and naughty, innocent and sexy. Play with fascinating multi-faceted beauty and freely transform yourself from pink to black, black to pink."
This song was released by livetune under the label Toy's Factory as a single on November 6, 2013. It was later featured in the album DECORATOR EP.

Trivia
- The word "henshin", used in the song lyrics, means "transform". It was used heavily in the Kamen Rider series.
- At around 0:46 there is a shot looking down into a subway station. The station walls and staircase are lined with posters which parody modern animes including Black Butler, Free! and Magi.
