SAKURA, ASAHI, SHION, and TAKU are a set of VOCALOIDs developed and distributed by Yamaha Corporation as part of the Silhouette Series. They were included in the version 6.3.0 VOCALOID6 engine update, using VOCALOID:AI technology and were released in December 2023. All four vocalists are Japanese-capable VOCALOIDs.
Their voice providers have not been revealed.

They are the second set of "standard" voices to be released following the first set of vocalists for VOCALOID6, SARAH, ALLEN, HARUKA, & AKITO.
Etymology[]
No official information was released regarding why their names were chosen or what they may mean. Their names were also written in romaji only, giving no further details.
Appearance[]
Similar to past Yamaha VOCALOIDs, the four have designs that are left open for interpretation. Rather than having fully illustrated character designs, they were instead represented by black silhouettes with some detail as to how they may look like. Each vocalist has a signature color presented in the background and shadings on their silhouettes: pink for SAKURA, turquoise for ASAHI, violet for SHION, and green for TAKU.
Each silhouette depicts the character singing into a wireless microphone. SAKURA has medium-length hair extending past her shoulders, with a portion tied up into a loose bun and wears a loose-fitting jacket or sweatshirt. ASAHI has bowl-cut styled hair with long bangs covering a portion of his face and is wearing a wide-necked t-shirt with short sleeves. SHION has shoulder length hair partly covering the eyes and wears what appears to be a jacket, resting just below her shoulders. TAKU has short hair with bangs covering the eyes and wears a long-sleeved shirt.
The silhouettes were illustrated by the Japanese manga artist Kagemaru Himeno.[2]
