The reception of Bruno and Clara in Japan

Ok, I have the feeling the bad opinions about Bruno and Clara comes mainly from the Otaku sector of the Spanish Vocaloid fandom. I was checking the Nicovideo's reprint of Juntos Tú y Yo. Although I don't know Japanese, the comments that I've checked with help of Google Translator seems to be quite positive.

I would like if Damesukekun or another user could check the comments to see how was the reception of Bruno and Clara in Japan. Adept-eX 22:13, November 22, 2011 (UTC)

It was confirmed a while ago a lot of the problem came from the Spanish pro-Japanese Vocaloid fans. There have been good comments from the Spanish too, but most are apparently uninterested. Its worth noting that the English fandom is generally quite good towards them, what with our own Vocaloids have a history of issues. I think there is also a sense things have gone a little too far and some seem to acknowledge that the anti-Non-Japanese fans are starting to overstep their place, its largely unwelcomed since Vocaloid 3 on Vocaloid forums. Especially since some of those who can do English AND spanish have confirmed that the Spanish Vocaloids are actually really good for first time releases. That shocks me most of all because SeeU lived up to expectations of a first time engine release for the most part. :-/ One-Winged Hawk 22:18, November 22, 2011 (UTC)

Well, the apparent lack of interest is because the Musician and composer sectors in the Spanish Vocaloid fandom is quite small. I know around 10 Vocaloid Users (discarding to Giuseppe and Ankari) dedicated to do songs or interested more in the software than in the characters. Despite this, all them have praised the quality of Bruno and Clara and have shown interest in get them eventually. Adept-eX 22:44, November 22, 2011 (UTC)

I gathered that much to a degree. Considering that I sourced an interview with Giuseppe where he said the main issues with Vocaloids outside of Japan is there is too mcuh focus on character over voice. So I'd say we spoke from knowledge, though honestly... It was already something we all knew. One-Winged Hawk 23:09, November 22, 2011 (UTC)

So basically it is not much different from how the English Vocaloids are treated. And also knowing about Vocaloid in general. I hope that VoctroLabs is promoting Vocaloid before they really release Bruno and Clara to the market, currently they seem to be focused on the fandom, rather than musicians that may be interested in a synthesized singer. -- Bunai82 ^(talk) 23:51, November 22, 2011 (UTC)
