Tsunose Kotone (紡乃世詞音) is a Japanese character developed by KADOKAWA CORPORATION, who has applied for a not-yet-launched crowdfunding campaign for an AI voicebank for the VOCALOID6 engine in collaboration with Yamaha Corporation through the latter's new VOCALOID FAN-ding initiative.[1] She was originally released by AI, Inc. as a standard-intonation text-to-speech voice library for the A.I.VOICE software in May 2023, which featured two voicebanks: her standard primary vocal and a younger secondary vocal dubbed Tsubomi (蕾).[2] An update for A.I.VOICE2 was released in August 2024.
Her voice is provided by the voice actress Miharu Hanai.
Concept[]
Tsunose Kotone is a 16-year-old messenger who delivers the world (through story) envisioned by her master through her words and voice. She likes Japanese sweets.[3]
She is accompanied by a younger, 10-year-old version of herself, Tsunose Kotone Tsubomi (蕾), who appeared through a space-time distortion in Kotone's web radio studio. She usually joins the older Kotone during web radio broadcasts.[4]

Tsunose Kotone's character design was done by illustrator BUZZ, who previously illustrated her A.I.VOICE designs; it is currently unknown if she will illustrate Kotone's VOCALOID design, pending the success of her VOCALOID FAN-ding crowdfund project.
