V3 Gackpoid software for the Vocaloid3 engine.

History

Internet Co., Ltd did not at first announce if Gakupo would be extended like Gumi, however, they confirmed if there is a demand for it they would consider producing one. Later it was confirmed all of Internet co., Ltd's Vocaloid2 voicebanks would receive a Vocaloid 3 update.

During the Vocafarre, it was revealed that Gakupo's update would follow Lily's.

Gakupo has several voicebanks in his Extend. "Power","Whisper", and "Native" are the 3 voicebanks confirmed in the booklet of the CD, Kamuizm (Kamui Musou, 神威夢奏). This information was gathered from a interview with Mr. Murakami.^[1]

Later it was revealed that V3 Gackpoid was going to be released on July 13th, 2012. Members of the website Dears could recieve a different version this package if they bought it before June 26th 2012 23:00. This version is more expensive and has different boxart, but includes some bonus extras. Only members who had joined no later then March 15th 2012 could order the product. It was shipped in July.^[2]

Description	The V3 Gackpoid software is an update which includes 3 vocal: an improved version of the original Gackpoid vocal and 2 new vocals, designed to have a natural tone to their voices.
Traits	As noted: At times the 2 vocals with changed tones can sound too similar to the "Native" vocal.

Demo Version

A trial version of V3 Gackpoid; Power was released electronically. The demo was available for download until September 6th 2012.^[3]
