She describes herself as "a singer gaining attention for bridging pop and anime songs to the creative scene" who also leverages "her petite, oriental looks to appear as a model and actress in works across various scenes, including fashion, music, art, and gravure." The * asterisk in her artist name originates from "pixie dust" (the trail left behind by fairies flying through the sky), serving as a marker symbolizing her desire to shine brightly, like "a small star."[10]

Born on May 29, 1987 (Zodiac sign: Gemini) and living in the Saitama prefecture, she is 150 cm tall and has blood type AB, according to her official profile. She likes cats, hornbills, and black tea and dislikes cucumbers, sweets and long escalators; she also cites dogs, pollen, sesame seeds, bananas, and coffee as her allergies. She was influenced since childhood by her parents who loved music, growing up aspiring to become a vocalist. This became reality around 2008, when she began participating in collaborations with various other artists, which were published in compilation albums. She also modeled for photography books like Julie Watai's September 2010 collection HARDWARE GIRLS (はーどうぇあ・がーるず), among others.[10]
